About InjuryER

InjuryER is an independent injury information and emergency room directory. It exists for one reason: to help people who have been injured or in an accident find the nearest appropriate emergency care quickly, and to understand what to do next.

Life-threatening emergency? Call 911 now. Do not drive yourself if you may need emergency transport. InjuryER is an information directory — it does not provide medical care or dispatch ambulances.

Why InjuryER exists

After a fall, a crash or a workplace accident, people often search for the closest emergency room while stressed, in pain or caring for someone else. Search results can mix urgent care clinics with emergency rooms, show outdated hours, or bury the information that matters most. InjuryER puts verified emergency facilities, directions and phone numbers in one place, alongside plain-language guidance on warning signs and care options.

The directory starts in Greater Houston and Southeast Texas and will expand to more Texas cities, Florida and Georgia as listings are verified.

Independent and not affiliated with any ER

Independent directory. InjuryER is not affiliated with, owned by or paid by any emergency room, hospital or health system. We built it to help people who have been injured or in an accident find the nearest emergency care quickly.

InjuryER is not affiliated with any emergency room, hospital or health system. We do not own or operate medical facilities, we do not provide medical care, and listed facilities do not pay to be included or to be ranked. If a facility ever pays for placement, its listing will be clearly labeled “Sponsored.”

InjuryER is not an ambulance or dispatch service. In an emergency, call 911.

How we verify emergency room listings

  1. Find the facilityWe identify hospital emergency departments and licensed freestanding emergency rooms in each city. Urgent care clinics are excluded.
  2. Confirm from official sourcesAddress, phone, hours, imaging and services come from the facility’s own website or its health system. Trauma designations come only from the Texas Department of State Health Services list.
  3. Leave gaps blankIf a detail cannot be confirmed, we leave it out instead of guessing. We never invent ratings, wait times or capabilities.
  4. Date and source every listingEach listing shows its last verification date and links to the sources used, so you can check them yourself.

Editorial standards

Injury and emergency-care guidance on InjuryER is written conservatively and checked against established references such as the American Red Cross, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), MedlinePlus from the National Library of Medicine, and the American College of Emergency Physicians. Pages never claim that an online checklist can rule out a serious injury, and they always direct readers to 911 when an injury could be life-threatening.

Content is educational and is not a substitute for advice, diagnosis or treatment from a qualified clinician. As our medical content library grows, articles will show their author and review dates.

Corrections

Facilities change their hours, ownership and services. If you notice information that looks out of date, please tell us and we will re-check the listing against official sources and update its verification date.

Not affiliated with any emergency room. InjuryER is an independent information resource. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or compensated by the facilities listed, and we do not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Listings are compiled from official facility websites, health-system pages and state agency sources (such as the Texas Department of State Health Services trauma facility list), and each shows its last verification date. Hours, services, insurance participation and ownership can change; call the facility or check its official website before you go when your condition allows. A freestanding emergency room is not a trauma center unless state records say so. Listing order does not indicate quality, speed or wait time. If you think you are having a medical emergency, call 911.
